Questions

Is Massed Compute or Oracle Cloud cheaper?

On the 6 GPUs both price on 2026-09-18, Massed Compute is cheaper on 6 and Oracle Cloud on 0. On average Oracle Cloud is 183% more expensive than Massed Compute across those GPUs. The table shows each one; the gap is rarely uniform.

What does one have that the other does not?

Massed Compute alone prices H200 NVL, H100 NVL, L40, RTX 6000 Ada, RTX A6000, RTX A5000; Oracle Cloud alone prices H200, MI355X, MI300X, A100 40GB, V100 16GB, A10. They are different kinds of provider — Massed Compute is a neocloud, Oracle Cloud a hyperscaler — which is most of why the prices differ.

Where do these prices come from?

Massed Compute: Public pricing page, parsed. Per-GPU price is the listed per-GPU rate, or the node price divided by GPU count. Prices near reserved, committed or contract terms are discarded; anything outside a plausible range for the GPU is discarded. Oracle Cloud: OCI's public price-list API (the cost estimator's feed), pay-as-you-go, per GPU-hour as listed. One price worldwide. Both are read every six hours; nothing is estimated.
